I’m Sam Flood, author of the *Felicity and Friends* children’s book series, inspired by my daughter, Felicity. As a husband, father, and lifelong lover of poems, I began writing children’s books in 2026 as a way to create meaningful stories we could enjoy together and share with other families.

Originally from Eden, Wisconsin, I now live in Downers Grove, Illinois, where I balance family life, writing, and my career as a professional web designer. I love creating fun, relatable characters who face everyday challenges, learn valuable life lessons, and discover the importance of kindness, courage, friendship, and perseverance.

I regularly read my stories with Felicity, whose imagination and curiosity continue to inspire new adventures. Through the *Felicity and Friends* series, I hope to encourage a love of reading while giving parents and children stories they can enjoy together.

Current titles in the series include *Felicity and the Grumpy Goose* and *Felicity and the Hiccup-potamus*, with many more adventures on the way.
