Timberwolves.com Redesign

In 2013, NBA Digital launched a “mobile-first” initiative to address rapidly increasing mobile traffic. As part of this effort, NBA Team Sites migrated from independent CMS platforms to the open-source CMS Drupal. During the summer-long preparation and rollout, I led the Timberwolves’ digital team and worked directly with NBA developers to prepare nba.com/timberwolves for Drupal integration. Two years later, I led an internal initiative to customize the Timberwolves homepage, breaking away from the league-provided template to create a more distinctive fan experience. The redesign leveraged the NBA API to deliver a more flexible and robust experience, including enhanced top news, upcoming games with ticket links, and statistical leaderboards. I independently led both the design and development of the site ahead of the 2016–17 season launch.
